Love lets you like or un-like a song without unlocking your iPhone

If you spend a lot of your time listening to music on your iPhone or iPad, then there’s a pretty good chance that you might take advantage of your Music app’s Like button to save a song you enjoy to your collection for later. Many apps support a Like button of some sort, but when your handset isn’t unlocked, getting to it can be somewhat of a chore.

That’s a problem that a newly released jailbreak tweak called Love by iOS developer MeBlackHat tries to fix, and it does that by allowing you to Like or un-Like music from almost anywhere in iOS with Activator or with a Control Center toggle – whichever you prefer.

You might be thinking that Love only supports the native Apple Music application, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, Love supports a wide variety of apps, including Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and YouTube Music. In the future, the app will add support for Anghami, Deezer, Musi, Pandora, and SoundCloud, among others.

As you might come to expect, Love adds a dedicated preference pane to the Settings app where you can configure the tweak’s actions and behavior. There, you can:

  • Toggle Love on or off on demand
  • Enable notifications for when you like or un-like a track
  • Allow pop-ups for when you like or un-like a track
  • Permit haptic feedback when liking or un-liking a track
  • Select and fire off a sound when liking or un-liking a track
  • Configure up to two Activator actions – one for liking a track, and another for un-liking a track
  • And much more…

Those who’d like to get the new Love tweak can purchase it for $1.99 from the Twickd repository via their favorite package manager. Love supports jailbroken iOS 13 devices and comes with a one-week return policy with strings attached.
