As the title suggests the series is named Blood and Treasure, but the question here is whose blood? Whose treasure? More to it that if CBS series gets renewed for a second season? As to find these answers, we have to look into it, so let us begin. Sophia Pernas and Katia Winter showed up as the leads in Blood and Treasure Season 1.

Blood and Treasure Season 2: Release Date

Blood and Treasure premiered on CBS on 21 May 2019 and got a decent number of fans in along the run of 12 episodes. CBS renewed Blood, and Treasure for a second instalment on 26 June 2019. If not for this situation of COVID-19, we will be watching the second season of the franchise by now. The filming includes several locations from which some were hotspots of the virus and had a complete lockdown. But the good news is as the problem is getting under control, the production resumes which begin in October 2019. Although there is no official date revealed by the distributor, we can still make assumptions. Fans need to wait for a few months, and CBS will prize them with the Blood and Treasure Season 2 in 2021, hopefully.

Blood and Treasure Season 2: Plot

The storyline of Blood and Treasure was intriguing and ended with a cliffhanger. That’s where we let our imagination to go wild about the upcoming plot. We saw that the Queen returned in the second last episode, Legacy of the Father, which is something that the second season will extend. And Denny is going to be the centre of attention yet again. Blood and Pleasure Season 2: Storyline

The story by Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia is something that we describe as “Woah”. The thrill and the uniqueness of the plot are what caught the attention of the viewers. We see how a thief and an antique expert team up for a common goal. The story follows their quest to find a stolen treasure which is now being used as a fund by a terrorist. Things become a complete mess when the team realises that the situation is not as simple as they thought. The plot focuses on our protagonist, who is an FBI agent.

The first season got a rating of 5.7 out of 10 on the review aggregator known as Rotten Tomatoes. I think that Blood and Treasure is undoubtedly something to try watching and as the second season is sure to come, then we will have a full view of the plot.
