Devilman crybaby is a Japanese anime released by Netflix. The show is adapted from the manga named Devilman, written by Ichiro Okouchi and produced by Aniplex and Dynamic Planning studios. Mr Masaaki Yuasa is the director of the show. Devilman crybaby is one of the most popular anime show on Netflix. However, it was announced in 2017 to mark the 50th anniversary of Go Nagai as a creator. Netflix will broadcast this show worldwide on January 5, 2018. From that day Devilman crybaby serves as a Netflix original series. Devilman crybaby is the biggest anime project of Netflix. However, viewership count is not revealed. But leaks say that this show has the highest viewership count in Netflix anime category.

Though this series is adapted from manga devilman, the storyline of the anime itself has a lot of changes. Some changes are good; some are bad, but this show does have improvements in the storyline. The arrangements of episodes and scenes are structured very well, which makes it more interesting than the original manga. Even if you’ve read manga, we suggest you go and watch the entire season. Every episode will give you a new exciting and fresh vibe.

Release Date: Devilman crybaby season 2

Season 1 of Devilman crybaby aired on January 5, 2018. Science Saru Studios did the Animation of this show. Science Saru did overwhelming energy. With all these efforts made, Devilman crybaby received extremely positive reviews from viewers. When the first season of the show came to an end, fans were waiting desperately for updates regarding season 2. 

 But chances of renewal of the second sequel are very slight. The main reason behind this is because show used every chapter from the manga. As a result, no chapter left to be animated. However, this does not mean there will be no second season of Devilman crybaby. As we’ve seen there are so many changes in the storyline of the anime; writers may find a new story from season 1.

 Overall the main point is the official date from the production house, and Netflix has not been announced yet. But due to huge fan following of the show chances are, that there may be the second sequel for this show. Storyline: Devilman Crybaby

The story of the show revolves around a boy named Akira Fudo. He is the main character of the entire series. Akira is a high school student; he lives with his only friend and his childhood crush. Miki Makimura, her brother Taro and her parents Noel and Akiko. One day while rescuing her passion from rappers gang. He gets beaten up by the team, but he is rescued by his childhood friend Ryo Asuka. After rescuing them, Ryo tells Akira, that when he went to an expedition to amazon rainforest, in the rainforest, he found the existence of demons. The shocking part is the government is hiding their presence. 

In finding demons, Ryo Asuka asks for help from Akira. Akira agrees to help Ryo in finding and discovering monsters. Ryo takes Akira with himself in an immortal party. Slowly slowly, the demons show up their true colours and take control of human bodies, and the party becomes a living hell. Monsters attack both Akira and Ryo, Ryo is attacked and is controlled by a demon. Akira was also struck by a terror named Amon. Akira’s will power helps him in getting out of possession. And Akira uses powers of Amon to kill other monsters. 

While moving further in the storyline, Akira faces Ryo. He finds out that Ryo is a fallen angel Satan from heaven. Gods destroyed Ryo’s body, but his soul survived, and he reincarnated in a human body. Ryo wants to exterminate humans from earth. To survive the incoming world, he made Akira a Devilman. Ryo asks Akira to join his side, but he refuses. Akira joins other Devilman and fights against Satan. But eventually, he gets defeated, and in the end, he dies.

Ryo Asuka

Ryo is the best friend of Akira since childhood, but later they both get separated when Akira transfers his school. He asks for help in defeating devils from Akira. To defeat devils, they both trade their souls with the powers of the devil. 

 

Akira Fudo

Akira is a weak high schoolboy. He always thinks low of himself. He gets separated from his best friend when he is forced to change schools because his family has to move due to work. Akira stays with his childhood crush Miki and her family. 

 Other characters are also in the show, but these characters affect the storyline most. You will enjoy the presence of every character in the show.
