There are a lot of great animes to watch, but horror anime is a bit different. They not only scare you but also make you thrilled, which is always exciting and enjoyable. Same is the diabolic lovers, but the story of creation for this anime is different. Diabolic lovers is originally a game designed for Play Station Portable which released on October 11, 2012. And later on, Rejet developed a game for both play Station Vita and Play Station 4. The first release of the game also inspired writers to publish a manga on the same topic and same storyline.
In 2013 the franchise which released the game also published anime of this series having name diabolic lovers. Seiko Nagatsu is the writer of the series and Zexcs animation studios did the animation stuff. Diabolic lovers started on television from September 16, 2013, and series ended on December 9, 2013, completing a total of 12 episodes and one OVA episode. The show by far went hit on television media.
And producers renewed the show for the second sequel. Zexcs animation studios also did an animation of the second season, but this time Hiroko Kanasugi was the writer. Diabolik Lovers More, Blood is the name given to the second season. When the second season ended fans are waiting for its third sequel’s release.
Release Date: Diabolic lovers season 3
The game franchise released the TV show, so for them, ratings do not matter. When the franchise releases more games, the chances of a third sequel will be more and more. So fans do not give up your hope stay positive. However, it’s been a long time since the last season of diabolic lovers completed. And also producers have not made any official announcements regarding season 3.
Due to pandemic, the release can’t come this year, but we can expect it to arrive in early 2021. However, we will update this section if we find any changes in the release date of this show.
Storyline: diabolic lovers
The story of the show revolves around a teenage girl named Yui Komori; she is a high school student. Yui is a very calm and cheerful person. Her father is a priest, and due to some business reasons, he has to go overseas. As a result, Yui has to move to a new town where she lives alone at a mansion. When she moves into her new house, there is no one to welcome Yui in. But when she tries to move in, the doors of the home open up automatically. When Yui Komori enters the house, she sees a teen boy sleeping on the sofa. Yui unintentionally wakes up the sleeping boy. This time she starts to feel something different. Suddenly behind the young boy, five other boys show up. Yui soon understands the fact that all these six boys are vampires and the first season ends here.
Season two tells that vampire brother are children of different mothers they call themselves Sakamakis. Vampire brothers soon decide to use Yui for their carnal desires. Yui somehow spends one month with Sakamakis. Strange things start to happen with Yui Komori. She gets unusual dreams of “Eve”, starts to suffer from chest pain. She even gets involved in a car accident, but Sakamakis save her. After that day, four other vampires called Mukami brothers come to kidnap her. They believe that blood of Yui will bring out Adam hidden inside them. Sakamaki brothers will do anything to stop Mukamis but will they succeed And the second season ends here.

Yui Komori
The whole show revolves around her. Yui Komori is a very cheerful and kind girl. One day her life brings her a storm. Due to work business, her father travels overseas and sends Yui to Sakamaki Fort where vampires live. Instead of running away, Yui chooses to fight and survive against six Sakamaki Vampire brothers. Yui has Cordelia’s heart which makes her a more stagnant vampire instead of a human. In the legends of Sakamakis Yui is a sacrificial bride and in the tales of Mukamis she is the chosen “Eve”. Yui is not a birth child; her father adopted her.
Shuu Sakamaki
He is the eldest of all the Vampire brothers. He is the owner of Sakamaki mansion. Shuu and Reiji are sons of Beatrix, first wife of the vampire king. However, he’s a vampire, but he loves to listen to music rather than drinking blood.
Reiji Sakamaki
Reiji is the second heir of Vampire King and Beatrix. Nature of Reiji is rigorous. He loves to be in discipline and the vampire who manages the entire Sakamaki mansion.
Ayato Sakamaki
He is the oldest son of Cordelia, Ayato’s childhood went very hard as he was always used by his mother to get the attention of Vampire King.
Kanato Sakamaki
Kanato is middle son among Cordelia’s three sons. His verbal and physical communications are very different. While speaking, he is very polite, but in reality, he is very vicious.
Laito Sakamaki
He is the youngest son of Cordelia. His nature is very vicious and death scary.
Subaru Sakamaki
Son of Christa, Subaru is the youngest lad in Sakamaki house. Childhood for Subaru went very traumatic. His mother always begged Subaru to kill her. Subaru still fears his past.
Ruki Mukami
Handsome and stylish, he is considered as the brain of his family. His nature is icy and brutal.
Kou Mukami
Kou is the second oldest son of the family. He works in between normal humans as an idol. But his nature is very selfish type.
Yummy Mukami
During his childhood, Yummi was a very timid and shy boy. But the adult version of Yummi is completely different from his childhood very dominating and aggressive.
