How to Disable Steam Guard on Mobile

[ad_1]

Disable Steam Guard: The most famous online gaming platform in the world has for some time inserted a security system that connects the Steam account to a mobile App, similar to Google Auth and other applications.

Basically, every time you log in from a new or unknown device (but after some time even from the usual device) Steam will ask us for an access code that can be found on the Steam App or if you do not have the App on email linked to your account.

Although I do not recommend it, you can disable Steam Guard at your own risk.

How to Disable Steam Guard on Mobile

How to disable Steam Guard smartphone authentication

To disable Steam guard and more precisely the authorization on the mobile app, also known as two-factor authentication, you must follow these simple steps:

  • Open the App from your smartphone.
  • Go to Menu (the three horizontal lines at the top left) Steam Guard and to Remove Authenticator.
  • A confirmation window will appear.
  • Confirm your choice to remove the authenticator and that’s it. You have deleted Steam authentication on Smartphone.

If you have any issue, feel free to ask below in the comment box!
