The coming of age Netflix series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) took the world by a storm. The high school crime drama series is a binge-worthy show, based on a true story. How to sell drugs online (fast), the title itself is self-explanatory, the series is an adaptation of the story behind 18-year-old Maximilian S. Max developed a thriving drug business online. Although he weaved his way through the dark web, his offline endeavours eventually led to his downfall and arrest. According to sources, Maximillian showed up on the set of How to sell drugs online when he heard of its filming. The producers believe it was good to get insight while making the series.
Philipp Käßbohrer and Matthias Murmann are the co-creators of the series. Season 1 of the series premiered on May 31, 2019, followed by another season premiering on July 21, 2020. Both the seasons consist of 6 episodes and are available on Netflix. After the premiere of season 2, the series received a renewal for another season.

Moritz Zimmermann, the main character of the series, starts an online drug dealing business after being dumped by his foreign return girlfriend. In the effort of trying newer things and gain experience, the nerdy teen spirals down a series of the dark web, stumbling upon the venture of selling drugs online. Surprisingly, he excels at it and becomes one of the youngest and biggest drug dealers in Europe.
Season 2 of the series has Lenny, Dan, and Moritz celebrate making a million euros from the drug-dealing website, MyDrugs. Along with the celebrations, they also release the stakes were getting high in the business. Therefore, they planned to opt-out of the drug dealing racket.
Moritz takes off to Rotterdam, intending to back out but eventually changes his mind. Instead, his plans to expand the business, and tells his friends that the Dutch won’t let them leave. As the secrets spill, Lisa doubts Moritz, making him wonder if he could tell her the truth. On the other hand, Lenny reveals everything to Kira, and learns, she has secrets of her own.
Season 2 of How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) ended abruptly, leaving viewers confused. The series unfolds in the past-present narrative, via the main protagonist. The entire six episodes of the second season, we had Moritz, earning a million dollars with his partners in crime, only for it all to crash down. He ends up in jail, without family, friends, or money. Yes, we’re all very disappointed. But it may be a part of an elaborate plotline for season 3.
After Lenny destroys the website, everything they worked for, the scene cuts to the present day, where Moritz is in Cuffs. The finale of the series left us on a cliffhanger. The show went quite a bit in between the lines. But we’re clear that Moritz did not have a happy ending. Even though he is alive, the danger still looms over his and his friend’s head. It’s only a matter of time until the Albanians find out the culprits behind Buba’s death.
The second thing, made crystal clear, was that no one related to MyDrugs could opt out alive. Things sooner or later will come crashing down on all of them. And they will have to pay for their actions. The series is famous for unexpected and disappointing deaths. Therefore, we can very much expect a few more deaths in the upcoming season!
