Mac Camera Not Working? Check the Lens
It is the first best step. if your Webcam is not working properly then you must check the Lens is cover with something or not.
If you are not getting any errors and observe the black display then you definitely sure that anything is not covering to Webcam.
Check the Webcam’s Permissions
First you open the an app and get permission then open the webcam. It’s very easy but first time you face problem when it make video call and recordings.you got permission of webcam then you go into setting > privacy >camera .
You can change any of setting you need administrator password and ID.
Kill the VDC Assistant and Apple Camera Assistant Processes
Two processes perform webcam which run in the background on your Mac: VCDAssistant and AppleCameraAssistant. Like any process on your Mac, these can not working properly at any time. when a process face any problem, it’s restarted by the system automatically.
sometime, this can not work. That time you can kill process manually with terminal command which mention in below.
sudo kill all VDC Assistant kill all Apple Camera Assistant
Type your curract admin password and try to restart your webcam.
Restart Your Mac
After killing the process can not work, try killing the whole process and then try to restart and log in the correct password and you can solve this by restarting your macbooks.
To do this, click the Apple menu, and then click “Restart.” In the window that appears, uncheck the box next to the “Reopen Windows When Logging Back in” option.
