The Matrix 4 release date: when will it be released?

So, officially announced back in December 2019, Matrix 4 was originally released on 20 May 2021, the same day as Keanu Reeves’ second upcoming new film, John Wick 4.

However, production for Matrix 4 was halted last month due to a coronavirus pandemic. The release date has now been very long pushed back to April 2022.

The movie was set to begin shooting in Berlin from early March after filming in Germany and San Francisco. So, According to The Hollywood Reporter and Warner Bros. halted production indefinitely.

And there is still a lot of time for this movie, so we will have to wait a little longer for this upcoming Matrix 4. Because the makers of the franchise have already told that it cannot come in 2021, it is now expected to release in 2022.
