‘Travelers’ Season 4 – Release Cancelled by Netflix.

Netflix is the most uncertain streamer we can ever have. We can never predict if it will renew or cancel a series with certainty. Still, the shows it streams are all fantastic and loved by viewers. Brad Wright created the Travelers as a series featuring sci-fiction. It included stars such as Eric McCormack, Mackenzie Porter and Nesta Cooper. A Canadian network, Showcase and Netflix co-produced Travelers for the first two seasons and after that, the latter took over the whole production. Now the point is that why did the series stopped after the third season?

Travelers Season 4: Release Date

The show had a Canadian origin, so it was first released in Canada on Showcase on 17 October 2016 followed by Netflix’s international release after two months on 23 December 2016. The second season hit the screens the very next year in 2017 and the third and last season of the series released on 14 December 2018. In February of 2019 the leading actor, Eric McCormack, revealed the news of discontinuation of series. I have to say one thing to the fans of Travelers that before they fall in the ocean of despair, they need to read the tweet by the actor. Thank me later, as I gave you a hint (by the tweet of Eric McCormack) that there might be a second program of the series which can feature Season 4.

Travelers Season 4: Reason of Suspension

There is no reason given by the streamer about the cancellation. Well, it’s nothing new as we know that Netflix keeps it to itself, every time. Travelers (Program 1) ended with a cliffhanger which makes the fans wonder that if they will ever know about what happened after this. We hope that Travelers comes back with “Program 2” and eases the anxiety caused by the last cliff hanger. What do you guys think of it? Do you believe that there will be a second program of the series?

Travelers Season 4: Storyline

The storyline seemed remarkable with the futuristic look. A gist of the story is that we follow a “traveler” in his journey to save the earth from catastrophic events that might happen in future. “Travelers” are the people who come back in time and take over a host body to accomplish their assigned task by Director ( Artificial Intelligence). Of course; they follow a set of protocols as time is not a joke, one mistake and bang everything goes wrong. We get a jaw-dropping cliff hanger at the end of Traveler Season 3. As the program, one fails we see the leader of the team of five travelers sends the message to the  Director, which later results in the launch of Program 2.

I wouldn’t say I like it when I don’t get a proper conclusion of my favourite show or film and I am assuming that you guys are the same. What I mean is that who would like their beloved show end like this? I do hope that the fans get the next program where everything goes well.
