One of the most recently released Polish erotic romantic drama, 365 Days is soon expected to come up with its sequel 365 Days 2 on Netflix. Directed by Barbara Bialowas and Tomasz Mandes, 365 Days has been adapted from the first novel of the trilogy by Blanka Lipinska.
It was first premiered on 7th February 2020 in Poland and later on Netflix on 7th June 2020. The film immediately gained a lot of limelight in a very short span of time and became the third most-watched shows of Netflix. It has been suggested as the Polish version of 50 Shades Of Grey. But at the same time, it was highly criticized for its portrayal and glamorizing physical violence.
The plot follows the story of Torricelli Sicilian Mafia, named Massimo who kidnaps a beautiful woman named Laura, whom he had once seen on a beach. He had been in search of her for five years. Later after kidnapping her, he asks her to fall in love with him in 365 days.
The release date of 365 Days 2 has not been announced yet. It was confirmed that the sequel has been planned back in February 2020. The production had to be put on hold due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The filming was supposed to begin in the summer of 2020. But due to the spread of the pandemic, it got canceled.
We can expect the upcoming film to drop sometime in the summer of 2021 or mid-2021, depending on the fact that the filming begins by the end of this year. Although the first film has been criticized by a huge number of masses, it is still one of the most awaited upcoming sequels.
The first part of the trilogy is available on Netflix. We hope to get hold of more updates and until then, stay tuned!
