“AP EAMCT 2020”: Result declaration, Seat allocation, Counselling and everything else you should know about!

AP EAMCT is an online MCQ based test for getting admissions into engineering, Medical and Agriculture courses, to students in states of Andhra Pradesh. Though Examination schedule will be from September 17 to 18 and 21 to 23, this is for students aiming to get admissions in engineering colleges/universities. But for those who are interested in an agriculture course. Their exam will be held from 23 to September 25.

AP EAMCT Result Declaration 2020

Results for AP EAMCT online examination will be announced by, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. JNTUK will declare the Results will be released on sche.ap.gov.in. However, authorities have not announced dates of result declaration. But we may get to see results in the month of early October.

To be able to check results, online students will have to use, their hall ticket number and application number. After result declaration, scorecards will be released. Scorecard will have a detailed description of students record. They are having details like marks obtained in the individual subject by the student along with their rank. A candidate whose result will be written as qualified. Only those candidates will be applicable for counselling procedure as well as for the seat allotment procedure.

AP EAMCT Rank Card

As soon as a result is released, the rank card will be released too. Rank card will have a detailed description of the student’s result. However, that will be important for the counselling procedure. Afterwards, at the time of counselling, the rank card will be required. However, to participate in the counselling process, it is mandatory to download and have a printout of the rank card.

How to download the rank card-

1) Open the official website of AP EAMCT 2020.

2) Click on “download scorecard”.

3) Write the application number and hall ticket number in the fields provided.

4) Click on the submit button.

5) Download and take out a printout of the rank card.

In case of Tie in result

Tie break policy will be used certainly in case if two or more students have the same scores.

Tie break policy is as follows-

1) In any case if Tie happens then student having a high score in mathematics subject, will be subsequently given superiority.

2) If Tie still exists after the first rule after that, marks of physics will be counted. Whoever having higher marks in physics will gain the advantage.

3) If both of the above two rules fail to cancel out Tie. Then afterwards, the student with a more significant percentage in the qualifying exam will be given priority.

4) If all test cases fail to select a candidate, then the candidate having a higher age will be selected over the candidate having a younger age.

Counselling: AP EAMCT 2020

After the declaration of Result Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), certainly will perform the counselling of AP EAMCT 2020. Moreover, as there is pandemic written examinations could not be conducted. But this exam is an online MCQ based test. Also, results will be available online, too to be able to participate in the counselling process. Students have to qualify for the exam.

Online counselling includes. Students are paying counselling fees, registration for counselling. And verification of documents at different reporting centres. After that choice filling and seat, locking is done. And at last seat allotment is done, after all these procedure seats are allocated to candidate.

AP EAMCT 2020 counselling eligibility criteria-

1) candidate must have a qualifying exam with valid score and merit.

2) Candidate should be minimum 12 passed. Or exam equivalent to 12th must have to be cleared.

3) Candidate should be at least 16 years as of on December 13 2020.

Counselling procedure

 Payment of counselling fees-

Students have to pay registration fees for AP EAMCT counselling. However, payment can be made online. But if you cannot pay with the online option, you can pay through any nationalized bank. Unreserved category students have to pay 1200 rupees. And those of who are reserved have to pay 600 rupees.

Checking payment status and verification of certificate-

Authorities will do online document verification of students who have qualified the exam. Due to some reason, verification of some students may not be successful. In that case, the students shall have to visit designated help centres for verification of their documents.

Candidates have to log in into their accounts, to check their payment fee status and certificate verification status. They have to enter their hall ticket number in the fields provided.

 Registration-

Through the official website, students will have to register themselves. A registration number will be sent to registered mobile no. In the form, students have to fill up registration no, date of birth, hall ticket and rank obtained in the entrance exam.

After that, they have to generate and save a password for their accounts.

 

College selection-

After registration, candidates have to log in into their accounts. To apply for colleges student wishes to get admission in. Moreover, this time students have to select individual list of colleges in preference order in which they want admissions.

Seat allotment-

Candidates who have selected their colleges during the college selection process. Will get seats allocated within their specified last date. After that, students who have been allotted seats. Will have to take a printout of their seat allotment letter. And after that, they should report to their allocated institute for admissions.

Documents required while reporting to the institute

1) AP EAMCT 2020 rank card.

2) AP EAMCT hall ticket.

3) 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate.

4) Payment receipt of counselling fees.

5) Photo ID proof or Aadhar card.

6) Domicile certificate.

7) Disability certificate if applicable.

8) Caste certificate if applicable.

9) Income certificate issued after January 1 2020.
