Series of Monster Girls also named “Demi-chan wa Kataritai” is a Japanese written manga. The manga series is written and illustrated by Mr Petos. The serialisation of the show started in September 2014. Kodansha did the conversion from Japanese to English of the manga version. Later on, the manga got adapted by A1 Pictures studios to create an anime version of the manga series.
The show offers a lot more than just comedy. Many people without watching say that. Anime has only humour in it which isn’t genuinely real. ‘Interview with Monster Girls’ lies under the sub-category. “Ecchi”, it is a category of manga that playfully includes sexual imagery and undertones. But this show also has some slice of life foundation.
All in all “Interviews with Monster Girls” is a unique anime in itself. While comparing with other anime, this show has covered a vast storyline in a period of just 13 episodes. Every character is unique and has a vital part in the storyline. The most loveable character is like the life coach of the Monster Girls. The show premiered from January 7, 2017, completing a series of 13 episodes and ended on March 25, 2017. From that day fans are waiting for updates on the second season. Release Date: Interviews with Monsters Girls season 2
From the date of season 1, last episode fans are eagerly waiting for the second sequel. Some of the fans went so far that they even sent requests to A1 Pictures, about releasing season 2 of “Interviews with Monster Girls” quickly. So here is the news, after receiving a tremendous amount of request traffic. Ryo Ando, the director of the show finally revealed there would be a renewal of the series for season 2. After sometime A1 Pictures also confirmed the news. So fans yes, there will be the second season.
Although the renewal of the second season is to confirm the actual release date is yet to be declared publicly. Due to pandemic animation studios so not remain open for a long time. So one thing is sure. There will be a delay in release than the actual date.
“Interviews with Monster Girls” season 2 will not release this year. But the chances are that it may release in the first month of next year. We will update this section if we get any news regarding the change in the release date of “Interviews with Monster Girls” season 2. So stay tuned with us.
Storyline: Interviews with Monster Girls
The story of the show revolves around a high school teacher. Tetsuo Takahashi is a high school biology teacher having decent looks. Tetsuo always had an interest in Demi-humans, Demi-humans are half monsters and half-humans. He always wanted to know more about demi-humans, also named Demi or Ajin. However, demi-humans have become a part of everyday human surroundings. Takahashi ever wondered that there is a lot more to know about Demi-humans. So Tetsuo wants to know everything about the life of Demis on its own.
Tetsuo and his three fellow semi monster students begin their adventure together to know each other more precisely. From these three students first is Hikari Takanashi, she is half-vampire half-human. Our second Demi is Yuki Kusakabe; she is a timid girl and holds the power of temperature control. And our last ajin is Kyouko Machi, one of the intelligent student in her class, Kyouko has a detached head with a fire burning from her neck. She always holds her head in her hands.
Tetsuo arranges one on one interviews with Hikari Takanashi, Yuki Kusakabe, Kyouko Machi so that he can obtain detailed information on the life of these semi monsters. At the same time, he gets a close interaction with these three demi girls; he understands the fact that these girls and other Demis are not much different from normal humans. And while continuing the interview, his perspective about Demis is eventually changed.
Characters: Interviews with Monster Girls
Tetsuo Takahashi
He is one of the main characters of the entire show. Tetsuo is a biology teacher whose nature is inquisitive. He gets amazed by Demis and wants to know more about them. Due to his muscular body, Tetsuo is referred to as Iron Man by his students. He starts learning more about Demis. And figures out problems they face being a demi during teenage. He is very kind and supportive. When it comes to caring about his three demi students, he always tries his best to take care of them.
Hikari Takanashi
She is a semi vampire semi-human, to live peacefully among humans, she avoids biting necks of other people. Her diet is government-supplied blood packets and other blood alternatives like tomato juice. Hikari’s nature is different from the myths. She loves eating garlic and rarely hates being in the light.
Kyouko Machi
Kyouko’s nature is timid due to her heart; she finds it very difficult to make friends. Kyouko’s head is detached from her body. And a blue flame burns at the place of her neck. She carries her head in hands. Moving on in the show Kyouko had a crush on Tetsuo. Because of her detached head, she got the title of dullahan.
Yuki Kusakabe
Yuki is a scared demi; the reason behind her timidness is. Because she thinks that she will hurt others due to her power, Yuki can make the environment around her chilling cold. When she experiences negative thoughts, surroundings around her become cold.
There are many characters in the show which you will see if you watch the series, but these above characters are the leading role in the storyline.
