This Will Be His Last Movie!

Chadwick Boseman took his last breathe at the age of 43 in his home in Los Angeles beside his family. After a fierce battle with Colon Cancer, the King finally rests in peace. Chadwick has been appearing on the screen since 2003 and has been in the movie business since 2008. Over the years he has played several roles, however, he is best known for the role of King T’Challa first appearing in Captain America: Civil War(2016).

Well, although we will not see him in any new roles, there is still a movie left to be released which shall be his last appearance on the screen. Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, an upcoming movie features stars Chadwick Boseman in the role of Levee.

It is an upcoming movie directed by George C. Wolfe based on the play of the same name by August Wilson. The movie is under post-production right now and does not have a release date yet. However, it will be released on Netflix soon. A virtual event was planned to release the first looks of the movie this Monday, however that has now been postponed due to obvious reasons. Though Netflix has said that postponement of the event will not lead to postponement of the release.

About The Movie: Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

The film stars Chadwick Boseman in the role of Levee, an ambitious trumpeter, who has an eye for Ma’s girlfriend. By the way, Ma is the titular character played by Viola Davis. Levee struggles for his own spot in the industry.

Set in the 1920s Chicago. The movie contains several themes such as the devastating effects of racial discrimination, the way that white people treated the black people, and also it is about the idea that the key to self-reliance and salvation lies in developing a sense of heritage and history.
